About the Keynote Speaker
Representative Mathew Manweller of the 13th Legislative District is currently in his third term in the House of Representatives. He serves in House Leadership as the Deputy Floor Leader and as the Ranking Member of the Labor Committee. He is also the co-founder of the Legislative Rail Caucus.
He is also a professor of political science at Central Washington University where he teaches Constitutional law and economic policy. He recently published law review articles on the McCleary decision and the Voting Rights Act. Some of his other books include The Chronology of the US presidency, The People Versus the Courts, and A Heretics Voice from the Ivory Tower.
Representative Manweller lives in Ellensburg with his wife Shelly and his two children Lincoln and Grayson.
